Dave, Julia & GarrettOur Adventures Around the World November 01 Halloween 2007So yesterday was Halloween, the kids had a great time trick-or-treating on the Square, in our neighborhood and at Deer Creek Nursing Home. Garrett was a T-Rex, Liliana was Snow White, Marina was a Vampire Kitty and Micheal was the Grime Reaper. They all got about 10 lbs of candy and were worn out by the time we finished. She finally made it here! I know she is almost two weeks old, it's been a big adjustment having a baby again. Here are a couple of pictures from the hospital. I'll get more up loaded soon. June 27 Inks Lake State Park - June 23, 2007Dave putting in bamboo flooring and had my computer down for about five days so it's taken me a few days to add this entry. I'll be putting pictures for the house on soon, it's been a mess around here but so worth the end results.
Garrett and I went to Inks Lake State Park this past weekend with Amie, Pooh, Marina & Michael. Garrett loves the lake. He played in the water and went kayaking. He was asking to go back the next day. It was a very nice relaxing day and we had a great time.
Inks Lake State Park is about 1-1/2 hours north of Wimberley and about 1/2 an hour from Marble Falls. Some of you may have heard about the flooding and heavy rainfall that Texas received overnight and this morning. Marble Falls got over 19 inches of rain in about 3-4 hours and was the heaviest hit here in Central Texas. The lakes are overflowing and we're so happy that we were able to visit before the flooding hit. June 21 Garrett's KittyLady is adjusting great to living at her new home. She's very loving and doesn't mind Garrett man-handling her. Like most kittens, she is very playful but thankfully, she hasn't gotten into any trouble...yet. She is a pretty little thing, she is orange striped with a chocolate frosting, three paws are chocolate and one is orange striped. Here is a closeup picture of her. June 15 Garrett's New KittyGarrett finally got his new kitty today. Lady, as she's been named by Garrett, is his reward for sleeping in his big boy bed. It's taken two and a half months and we still have some nights when he tries to crawl into our bed but he's doing great. Now he wants a pet turtle...I told him he's getting a little sister.
